FPSO Asset Management

FPSO Asset Management

The offshore Floating Production Storage Offloading (FPSO) organisation is structured around the Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) supported by the Production, Maintenance and Marine Superintendents and the offshore Safety Advisor.

The usual administrative work associated with on-board management responsibilities

Under the auspices of the OIM, an offshore team (42 men and women) is responsible for safe offshore operations and maintenance.

The OIM is responsible for ensuring that oil and gas production is performed in accordance with the production programme and terms of contract with the client oil company. He or she maintains contact with the onboard client representative on a daily basis.

The asset group in a local base office is managed by an Asset Manager. All base offices report to the Operations Manager.
