Sakhalin-1 Project’s De-Kastri Oil Export Terminal Recognized as Russia’s Best Oil Terminal 2012

Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Russia, December 24, 2012 – The Sakhalin-1 De-Kastri Oil Export Terminal received the award as Russia’s Best Oil Terminal 2012 from the VII International Oil Terminal Congress 2012 held in St. Petersburg, November 27-28.

The award recognizes terminals that are managed effectively, have applied cutting edge technologies and have an effective environmental strategy.

This is the second time the De-Kastri Terminal has received an award from the International Oil Terminal Congress. In 2009, the De-Kastri terminal was recognized as the Terminal of the Year for its economic, environmental and social performance.
